Notes from Coach Maxwell :
-
This trip will serve as our Week 1 game, and we expect our Varsity/JV team to travel together.
Typically, our varsity travel roster includes 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Since teams (Varsity/JV/C) are not finalized at the time of registration, we are opening this opportunity to all 10th graders to ensure fairness. While our goal is to schedule a travel game every two years, please note that this is not guaranteed, as scheduling can be impacted by factors outside of our control. For this reason, we strongly encourage all 10th graders to participate, as they may not have another opportunity depending on future schedules.
If a player is unable to attend, please contact Coach Maxwell as soon as possible. Our goal is for all players in grades 10–12 to be part of this incredible team-building experience.
-
Throughout the trip, players will be under the supervision of the coaching staff at all times. Players will not be permitted to leave the hotel grounds.
Coaches will sssign roommates and transportation groups, Coordinate all meals with KSA and Oversee the full daily schedule.
We highly encourage families to attend and support the team! Families are welcome to join the team at Hapuna beach, the team luau (FGIC working to secure additional tickets) and game day to cheer on the Falcons.
At the conclusion of the trip, once we arrive back at Sea-Tac Airport, parents/guardians will be responsible for picking up their player and signing them out with a coach.
As we get closer to departure, we will provide a detailed itinerary, and families will be informed of daily schedules and activities.
Fundraising your trip :
-
How it works :
Each day of the month has a dollar value that matches the date (ex: the 10th = $10, the 25th = $25, etc.)
Supporters “purchase” a day on your calendar
Once all days are filled, you’ve raised up to $496 in one month
You can print out multiple months to raise more money
How you collect funds :
Supporters can send payment directly to you (Venmo, etc.), or
They can scan your personal KSA payment link/code and pay directly toward your trip balance
-
How it works :
Take a standard deck of 52 cards
Each card is “sold” for $10
As each card is purchased, write the supporter’s name on it
Once all cards are sold, you’ll have raised $520 total
The drawing :
Shuffle the deck and randomly draw one card
The winner receives $100
You keep the remaining $420 to put toward your KSA trip balance
How you collect funds :
Most participants collect via Venmo or cash
You will be responsible for :
Tracking purchases
Paying the $100 winner
Submitting the remaining funds toward your KSA account balance
This is a great fundraiser to post on social media accounts
