Rob Velencia

C-Team OL/DL

Coach Robert Valencia is entering his first year coaching football and is proud to be a member of the C Team. Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Coach Valencia’s love for the game began at Archbishop Riordan High School, where he first took the field. He went on to play Division III football as a tight end at Coe College in Iowa before transferring to City College of San Francisco, transitioning to the offensive line and competing for two seasons.

In 2017, Coach Valencia earned a scholarship to play offensive line at Washington State University, where he was part of the Cougars’ standout 11-2 season in 2018. His time as a player shaped his passion for teamwork, discipline, and growth—values he now brings to his athletes.

Outside of coaching, Coach Valencia serves his community as a firefighter for Eastside Fire and Rescue, where he has worked for the past year and a half. He and his wife, Audrey Woodard—a PE teacher at Woodinville High School—live locally with their cat and dog.

Coach Valencia is excited to share his experience, dedication, and love for football with his players as they build skills on and off the field.
